CREW Miami 2024 Scholarship Award Application

Application Deadline: Friday, November 8, 2024

Two (2) $5,000 scholarships will be awarded, one funded by the Roslyn K. Berrin Scholarship Fund and one by CREW Miami Signature Events, based on merit, not financial need.  Awardees will also receive a complimentary CREW Miami Student Membership and the opportunity to participate as a Mentee in the CREW Miami Mentorship Program.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

No single factor—whether academic performance, essays, letters of recommendation, or work experience—is decisive. CREW Miami will consider each application holistically and take into account factors such as background, communication skills, experiences, perspectives, goals, aspirations, values, and accomplishments.

1. Applicant must be a woman.
2. Applicant’s permanent residence must be in the State of Florida.
3. Applicant must be enrolled at a U.S. accredited college or university in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
4. Applicant must maintain good academic standing.
5. Applicant must maintain continuous enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program related to real estate.
6. Applicant must have at least one semester of academic studies remaining as of the time of application.
7. If selected as an Awardee, Applicant must attend the CREW Miami Holiday Party & Awards Ceremony to be held on the evening of Wednesday, December 4th, 2024 at the Mayfair House Hotel & Garden in Coconut Grove, at which the Award will be presented. Awardee agrees to be photographed at the event and agrees to have CREW Miami use any photographs in marketing materials.
8. If selected as an Awardee, Applicant must join one of CREW Miami’s committees and be actively and consistently involved in such committee for the 2025 calendar year. Committee options and onboarding will be communicated to Awardees.
9. If selected as an Awardee, Applicant must join the CREW Miami Mentorship Program as a Mentee and be in regular contact with her Mentor. The Mentorship Program schedule and onboarding will be communicated to Awardees.
10. If selected as an Awardee, Applicant must attend at least six (6) CREW Miami events throughout the 2025 calendar year.
