Scholarship and UCREW Subcommittee

The Scholarship Subcommittee manages the Chapter’s annual scholarship awarded to women currently studying a commercial real estate-related discipline at a college or university in Miami Dade County. The Subcommittee promotes the scholarship within the local academic and commercial real estate communities, prepares and administers the scholarship application form, manages collection of applications, scores the applications, selects awardee(s), coordinates delivery of the scholarship to the awardee(s), and helps to onboard the awardee(s) as student members of the Chapter.

Time commitment: 2-3 hours promoting, 1-2 hours managing applications, 4-6 hours scoring, and 3-4 hours coordinating delivery of the scholarship, for a total of 10-15 hours during a three-month span at the end of an academic semester. Scholarships may be awarded in one or both semesters of an academic year.
