Josie Legido Correa

Josie Legido Correa is a native of Miami and lives in the City of South Miami where together with her husband she raised her 3 adult children.   

Josie’s career in Marketing and Business Development started in the early 90’s when she was named the Executive Director of the Downtown Miami Partnership – Downtown Miami’s Chamber of Commerce. She spent 20 + years at the helm of this organization and helped to revitalize and re-energize Downtown Miami through strategic economic development efforts.   

In Early 2021 Josie joined JWR Construction as their Director of Business Development for Florida. Josie’s extensive relationships within the South Florida community allowed her to create a significant value add for JWR. As an experienced and resourceful Business Development Professional with a proven track record of building trust and developing long term relationships Josie leads all of JWR's BD initiatives. Her focus also includes providing value to existing clients and continuing to cultivate these relationships by finding new opportunities for additional engagement with all of JWR’s current clients.    

Josie’ Volunteer work  

Josie dedicates time to causes she is passionate about and currently serves as a Board member of the Miami Bayside Foundation an organization designed to advance economic development in The City of Miami through the support of Minority businesses and education. In 2024 Josie was named President Elect for 2025 of CREW Miami (Commercial Real Estate Women). Josie also serves as the Director of CREW Miami’s Strategic Planning Committee where her role includes the overview and implementation of the recently adopted strategic plan for 2023-2026 . In addition, Josie serves on several committees with the Great Miami Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce and the Coral Gables Chamber.
