Our Community and Industry Impact

Woman holding a heart

CREW Miami seeks to make a lasting, positive impact on our local community, far beyond the commercial real estate industry. CREW Miami members contribute their time and effort to our collective philanthropic efforts:

  • Women’s Forum

  • Fall Fundraiser raises funds that CREW Miami awards to The Women’s Fund of Miami-Dade through grants, and to support CREW Miami’s other community programs

  • UCREW allows students at local universities to meet and connect with CREW Miami members in order to foster interest in commercial real estate and related fields

CREW Network Foundation

We are proud to support CREW Network Foundation, the only charitable foundation solely dedicated to advancing women in the commercial real estate industry. CREW Network Foundation is committed to bringing more women into commercial real estate by offering programs like CREW Careers and UCREW that educate women and girls about the career opportunities in the industry; supporting CRE higher education and training through college scholarships and internships; and providing mentorships to those new to the industry.

Young Women in Hard Hats

Roslyn K. Berrin CREW Miami Scholarship Fund

Roslyn (“Roz”) K. Berrin has shattered many glass ceilings for women in commercial real estate. She spent more than half a century as the founding CEO of Berrin Associates, a Miami-based real estate company dealing exclusively in land, commercial, industrial and investment properties. A pioneer in her field, she was among the first women of her generation to pursue an entrepreneurial career in non-residential real estate, beginning in the 1950s with the sale of large parcels of land.
