Staci L. Merchant

Staci Merchant is the President of Merchant Insurance Inc. with over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. She holds a degree in Risk Management & Insurance from The Ohio State University, graduating in 2004, and began her career in early 2005 with an agency in South Florida.   

In her early years, Staci earned her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation and attended the Hartford Producer School, where she achieved the Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation. She is also a graduate of the National Alliance Producer School.  

Staci’s expertise lies in taking a ground-up approach to insurance, focusing on understanding all exposures of a business and what keeps business owners up at night. This holistic perspective allows her to create tailored, comprehensive insurance solutions that meet the unique needs of each client.  

Staci’s dedication to the industry and leadership skills have been recognized throughout her career. She served as the President of the Miami Young Agents Committee from 2011-2012 and was honored as MCIM “Rookie of the Year” in 2008. Since 2019, she has been an active member of the Florida Citrus Business Insurance Agent’s Advisory Board, contributing her expertise to the insurance community.  

In addition to her professional achievements, Staci is passionate about fostering industry relationships. She was a member of CREW Miami from 2010-2012 and returned in 2022 where she continues to build connections and support the growth of women in commercial real estate.  

Outside of her professional life, Staci is a proud mom of three girls. She enjoys traveling, hiking, and staying active through outdoor sports, which help her recharge and maintain a healthy work-life balance.  

With her extensive background in risk management, leadership, and dedication to the insurance industry, Staci leads Merchant Insurance Inc. with a commitment to providing exceptional service and fostering long-term client relationships.
